Connor Martin: Taking Short Trips Out of the Rehab Facility

Connor Martin's brother, veteran Kevin Ash, fell into a coma after receiving a traumatic brain injury. After he woke up, though, his family discovered he had lost his sight and hearing. Combined with the other symptoms of his TBI, Kevin lost a lot of independence. But his family fought to keep him active and engaged with life. A major partner in this goal was the Wounded Warrior Project® (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/), a charity organization that supports veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military.
