Aim Better: Jung's Union of Opposites vs Heaven & Earth | J Peterson & M Pageau

To understand the pattern of the union of opposites, the joining of Heaven and Earth in particular, is to understand individuation and the highest version of it - that is, you understand the most all-encompassing form of self actualization that I know of anyway. But joining Heaven and Earth isn't just individuation of a sort - it's a pattern that exists at all levels, both in the mind of the individual and in the collective unconscious, and lower and higher.

The very highest version we can conceptualize is something like salvation, deification and/or theosis.

This is Heaven joining with Earth; the masculine with the feminine - animus and anima, order and chaos, logic and emotion, and so much more, all wrapped up in those 4 simple words; Heaven joined with Earth.
