🔍 What is Fuzzy Logic?

Fuzzy Logic is a form of multi-valued logic where the truth values of variables may be any real number between 0 and 1.

• Crisp Logic : The light is either ON (1) or OFF (0).

• Fuzzy Logic : The light is "dim," "bright," or "very bright" (values like 0.3, 0.7, or 0.9).

🛠️ The Fuzzy Inference Process

To make a "Fuzzy" decision, an AI goes through these four steps :

• Fuzzification : Converting crisp inputs (like a temperature sensor reading 25°C) into fuzzy sets (like "Warm").

• Rule Base : A set of "If-Then" rules provided by experts (e.g., If temperature is Warm and humidity is High, then set fan to Medium).

•Inference Engine : The "brain" that matches the input with the rules.

• Defuzzification : Converting the fuzzy result back into a crisp action (like setting the fan speed to precisely 45 RPM).

🌟 Real-World Applications

You are using Fuzzy Logic every day without realizing it :

• Washing Machines : Sensing how dirty the clothes are to adjust water and detergent levels.

• Anti-lock Braking Systems (ABS): Adjusting brake pressure based on road slickness.
