Overlooked early in his career because of his skinniness, he proved all of his doubters wrong by becoming one of the greatest defensive players ever. Helped the Lakers win 5 titles in the 80's with his stellar D, his ball-handling and passing, his energy, his hustle, his shooting, his athleticism... The only player to win the Defensive Player of the Year Award while coming off the bench. Should definitely have his number retired by the Lakers, in my opinion.
