There is no better way to know who you are than to know who He is. And the best way to know who He is, is to know what He says, and knowing what He says about YOU!
3 Truths about Who You Are:

1. It’s not based on your

A. One of the enemy’s greatest weapons is to base your identity on your worst moments.
Revelations 12:10 NLT For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night
B. Another weapon the enemy uses is getting you to speak like him.
John 8:43-44 NLT 43 Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It’s because you can’t even hear me! 44 For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does.

C. Jesus doesn’t base your identity on your worst moment.
John 8:10-11 NLT Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” 11 “No, Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”

2. It’s not based on your

Ephesians 2:8 GNT For it is by God’s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God’s gift, so that no one can boast about it.

A. One weapon of the enemy is to base God’s approval of you on how well you’ve done. The enemy wants you to think you have to earn God’s love.
B. God’s word is enough!
