In this video, I’ve built a smart ESP32-based IoT prototype that lets you control your room appliances in two ways — using Arduino IoT Cloud and physical push buttons.
The best part? 🔥 Both controls are fully synchronized.
That means:
• If you turn a device ON/OFF from the IoT dashboard, it updates instantly.
• If you press a physical push button, the change is reflected on the Arduino IoT Cloud dashboard as well.
• The cloud variable stays the single source of truth, keeping everything perfectly in sync.
This makes the system reliable, real-time, and practical for real-world home automation.
🚀 What’s coming next?
In future videos, I’ll integrate an SX1262 LoRa module with this board. That will allow:
• Control via IoT Cloud (with internet)
• Control via physical push buttons
• Remote control from kilometers away using LoRa — even without internet!
So we’ll have hybrid control: Cloud + Physical + Long-range RF.
