Our intercept of Hurricane Irma in SW Florida on Sept 10-11, 2017. Outer rain bands were filmed from Punta Gorda FL, and then we moved southeast between Ft. Myers and Naples to catch the eyewall out in the open. The next day, there was significant rainwater flooding near Lehigh Acres, east of Ft. Myers.
