MAVEN Show Glow filters are designed to take bright highlights and scatter the light creating a "glowing effect". This is accomplished by embedding the filter glass with crystals in different densities, specifically 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 strengths.

MAVEN filters has accomplished a world first by creating a universal visual and tactile language on the rims of the show glow diffusion filters: specifically using small squares to determine the diffusion strength in an inverse manner.

2 squares is 1/2, 4 squares is 1/4 and 8 squares is 1/8th strength. Furthermore, the MAVEN filter team accomplished this by anodizing the rings with TWO different colors. This is no easy task, and we went through many prototypes and testing to achieve this. It is also a forerunner of what else is coming from MAVEN, we strongly believe each filter should both look and feel different, allowing users of all capacities to enjoy shooting.
