Historic Mackay Mansion - home of Bonanza King John Mackay

Jeff and Sarah tour the historic -- and some say haunted -- Mackay Mansion in Virginia City, Nevada. The 1860 mansion was home to the father of William Randolph Hearst and also to John Mackay, one of the richest men in the world when he died in 1902. Two robbers were killed inside the house when in 1883 they tried to gain access to the vault where gold and silver bullion were stored. This is episode #38 of the YouTube show "History Hunters."
