The Overmountain Men of Tennessee
A short documentary I made for my Appalachian History class. The Overmountain men were some of the earliest settlers of the Appalachian mountains, defying the British crown by crossing over the lines of British territory into Native American lands. The first settlers of Tennessee, they paved the way for future settlement of the south and fought for thier independance from the crown at the Battle of King's Mountain.
