With less than a month before we’re due to head back into our winter marina, we decide to head north — that is, until we find out that a lock we would need to pass through has been damaged and won’t be fixed for a while! With the second lockdown also coming into effect, we turn around and head back towards the marina, tasting some delicious oatcakes from the B’oatcake Boat on the way, and stopping to visit the Middleport Potteries.
