2005 Mazda 6 stalling and rough running

No fault codes present. The fuel pressure would only get to 2.5bar when it should be around 4bar at idle.
The final diagnosis was faulty intake fuel filter, but this case highlights the industry problem of technicians not checking in-tank fuel filters.
