How to Change an alternator in a 1989 VW Jetta Diesel MK2 | How To
I replaced the alternator in my 1989 VW Jetta Diesel this is suppose to help people with a little mechanical skill and have little experience doing this task. My Hobby is collecting and resurrecting these cars know as MK2 Diesels that were made from 1985 through 1992. There were many different version all sharing the same parts and drive trains. Even the Gasoline powered version have many of the same parts as the diesel version. As a matter of fact the Gasoline engine in that period was actually a diesel block with different Pistons and other gasoline parts.

I live in Fairmount Georgia where my shop is. The shop is dedicated to working on my Many VW Diesel MK2 cars.
