At Best Practice Medicine we want to train our EMT's in the most realistic manner possible and help them gain a thorough understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. To foster a broader understanding of how ventilation works, we've adopted the Pig Lung lab into our EMT curriculum.

We also use a pig heart to show the anatomy and physiology in great detail along with a reperfusion exercise using glow sticks.
