BNSF sand train stalls at Plain siding, Colorado

This is going to be a long day for this crew. One of the pusher locomotives has shut down, just as the train began it's climb up the 2% grade of the Moffat Route pulling a train of loaded sand cars. It has struggled for the last 20 minutes moving slowly up the mountain. At Plain the train comes to a stop. The engineer attempts to move the train again but has to stop due to wheel slip. Finally after putting a load on the locomotives with the brakes on, and then releasing the brakes under load, the train gets enough of a push to start moving again. It is around 20 miles and uphill all the way to the Moffat tunnel. At 7:27 listen carefully and you can hear cooling fans one and two start up.
