We hear Prince Charles (Prince of Wales) talking about his forth coming investiture ceremony at Carnarvon Castle, Wales.

Various shots procession entering inner courtyard of castle. The procession passes more crowds inside the castle enclosure. Good shots Prince Charles in military uniform passing crowds.
Various shots Royal carriage passing through town, Queen Elizabeth II, Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) and Princess Anne wave to crowds. More shots castle courtyard. L/S crowd of dignitaries. Prince walks towards platform, followed by three men in robes. The Prince kneels in front of his mother. Various C/Us of the men in robes, each one holds a cushion. On the cushions are the Prince of Wales' crown, ring and sword. The Queen places the sword over the Prince's head. L/S crowd. She then gives him the ring and sceptre. We hear the Secretary of State of Wales reads proclamation in Welsh. The Queen then puts an ermine cloak on the Prince and fastens it. M/S Princess Anne and the Queen Mother watching. Natural sound of Charles swearing oath of allegiance to the Queen. The Queen clasps her sons hands, when he finishes talk, she kisses him on the cheek.

L/S crowds outside the castle cheering and waving Welsh and British flags, pan to Queen, Duke and Prince walking onto castle balcony. They wave at people below before leaving the balcony.
