My SVT catheter ablation experience

To help those who have Supraventrictular Tachycardia (SVT) and are considering a catheter ablation or know someone who is, I wanted to make a video documenting my experience. A couple of quick numbers regarding SVT and catheter ablations:

• SVT affects roughly 2.3 out of 1000 people
• A catheter ablation has a 90% chance of getting rid of SVT, sometimes a 2nd procedure is required to completely eliminate the SVT

Prior to my operation, I found it very therapeutic to speak or watch video testimonials of those who have had catheter ablations. These insights helped build the confidence I needed prior to my procedure and enabled me to not have any nervous anxiety during the operation. At the point I decided I wanted to operation, I was so fed up with my SVT that I was actually ready and looking forward to the surgery. As we prepare to move onwards to 2017, I'm looking forward to working out and living life without the fear of SVT.
