“Made in Poland” Portable Bullet Vise Restoration | Polished Aluminium Base Must See!

I found this small portable bullet vise at the carboot sale in a rusted but solid state and restored it back to its former glory. The screw says made in Poland.

It was rusted up and the base had old paint that had flaked off, I wire wheeled all of the steel, stripped the paint off the base, polished the aluminium to a high shine and then painted the vice reminiscent if it’s original paint scheme.

Customised with the JKL letter stamps, it is ready to serve me well. It’s actually in really great condition and I’ve always wanted a swivel vise so it is a great find.

I tried something new with this one when reassembling the vise I did so in a kind of flat lay style. I think it turned out well, feels almost like a blue print. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
