Some would say "yes", due to things like the Glencoe Massacre, the battle of Culloden, or the actions of the British military in northern Ireland. or does the illustrious career of the the Black Watch regiments down the centuries counter-balance these sad events? or is it all actually completely irrelevant since Black Watch is one of the most ubiquitous tartans in the whole world?
