TSC Production Tip 002 - Gated Reverb - Recreating the Gated Reverb of the Roland DEP-5 Hardware

In this video I show you how to recreate the gated reverb from my Roland DEP-5, which is a hardware unit that will no longer power up. So I set out to re-create the sound via plugins in the DAW and best yet, I do it will ALL free plug ins! Before watching make sure to stop by and pickup the plugins we'll be using.

Kilohearts was kind enough to create a full 30 vst plugin set of essential effects. Things like Bit Crusher, Compressor, Distortion, Flanger, Gate, Phaser, Pitch Shifter, Reverb, Tape Stop, Transient Shaper and so on. Worth having and today we'll be using the 3-band EQ, the Gate, and the Limiter.
