It's a time period of history i'm quite fascinated with, both in terms of Scotland and how local events played out within wider British context, so I have gone on some adventures like the one in today's episode to find out more. The Mary Queen of Scots train led me to Fotheringhay Castle near Peterborough, where she was executed.
