Palisade Plunge Mountain Bike Adventure Sept 2023 - It's Awesome! - Brian Dixon

A good day recently with Kyle Rhoderick on one of Colorado's newest and raddest all day bike mountain bike experiences: The Palisade Plunge near Grand Junction Colorado!

Opened in 2021, It took an amazing amount of human trail building power by Greg Mazu and his trailbuilding company SingleTrack Trails Incorporated (STI) Singletrack Trails to turn this 32 miles into what it is now. Thanks Greg and STI!

Partners included the Town of Palisade, Mesa County, the City of Grand Junction, the Orchard Mesa Irrigation District and the Colorado Plateau Mountain Bike Trail Association collaborated with the BLM, the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Reclamation.

This tour de force is an amazing slice of what the western slope of Colorado has to offer. This is definiitely not for beginners but experienced riders will whoop whoop it up on a variety of terrain and still may have a high pucker factor on the last "plunge" section.

Regardless, It sure was a whole lotta fun!
