Today we headed straight to the Pedang in Singapore to check out some of the incredible colonial architecture there. It was here that we first learned about Sir Thomas Raffles: the founder of modern Singapore and also the namesake of the famous Raffles Hotel.

After a bit of culture, we headed straight over to Chinatown - specifically China Food Street - to grab some lunch. The food here didn't QUITE live up to our expectations, but the shopping in the rest of Chinatown was awesome and had a great atmosphere.

We finished the day at Fort Canning Park which again featured some colonial remnants, but also plenty of nature as well.
