There are good reasons to record details of each of your trades. From my experience of training and coaching traders, the traders who keep the most detailed records rend to be the most successful and profitable.

Take a look at the records that I keep from my own trading. These are the kind of details that you too should record. Remember, you are running a trading 'business'. All businesses keep detailed accounts.

The analysis of your records will help you to improve your trading and optimise your system.

Keep it simple, look out for the basic stats that you need and commit to starting your spreadsheet or notebook records today. You will be forever happy that you did when you look back on your trading results.
