This Organ Toccata in D Major Sounds HUGE | Maredsous Abbey

Today I’m playing my Toccata in D Major on the magnificent organ of Maredsous Abbey in Belgium!

This instrument has such a grand and colorful sound, and it felt like the perfect match for this piece. The organ has real power, brilliance, and that big, exciting sound I always love for a toccata. I also love the super powerful 32' Bombarde in the Pedal which gives this piece a very festive feeling!

I hope you enjoy this performance from one of the most impressive abbey spaces I’ve had the chance to visit.
