Range Rover P38 # 075 - Side Mirror & Plenum Intake Leaks

I accidentally broke my left side mirror when a roll of insulation fell from the 2nd story. First I thought I had to buy a new (well used one), but then I decided to try and fix it. The swivel mechanism of cast metal broke. Trying to epoxy them together didn't work and wouldn't hold in the long run. Instead I opted to drill a couple of small holes through the metal and into the mirror housing on the other side. Adding a few self-tapping screws I had a temporary solution.

I'll source a used one and I don't care too much which version I get (pre-2000 facelift have a 6-pin connector, and post-2000 have a 13-pin connector). If needed I'll swap over the internals into the new (used) housing.

A few users also asked for tips for water leaks from around the dashboard. So I made a short clip with a few tips for what to look for. The cabin filter covers, and then the cabin filter tray under the metal plate located under the plenum intake plastic cover are a few I've had issue with. Also make sure all screws have a dab of silicone when you install them (plenum intake cover, cabin filter covers etc).
