Meet Caillou, the lovable 4 year old with a big imagination! Caillou experiences all the wonders of being a child that audiences around the world can relate to; first day of school, caring for a pet, learning a new sport or spending time with family. Preschoolers will feel right at home with trusted pal Caillou, his sister Rosie and all their family and friends as they experience the everyday adventures of childhood.

Caillou and the family are at Grandma Grandpas for an evening corn roast. Everyone marvels at the night sky full of stars-which gives Grandpa the perfect opportunity to bring out his telescope introduce Caillou to the constellations. The house wakes up late, and that means its mad rush to get off to work and off to childcare. When Caillou doesnt want daddy to go to work, dad decides to show Caillou lots of people at work in their neighbourhood. Caillou meets all kinds of people doing all kinds of jobs. The best part? When he makes the light and siren go off in the police car! Its time for Gilberts annual visit to the Vet. Gilbert instinctively know where hes heading. He hates riding in the car, so Caillou does his best to comfort him-with near-disastrous results! Things only get worse when Gilbert confronts a dog in the waiting room. The Vet suggests that Caillou could comfort him when he gets his shot. That wasnt so bad, was it? MEOW! When Caillou plays astronauts with Leo he upsets Rosie. Meanwhile, Grandpa discovers a new panetarium is opening and theres a prize for the best space costume. Caillou is thrilled when the winner turns out to be...a surprise!

Caillou is helping Mom clean out the attic. When they come across an old chest, they open it and discover its full of unexpected things that may not be worth much money, but are treasures nonetheless. The family goes away for a weekend of camping in the woods. Caillou is startled when the fish in the lake tickle him. He climbs a mountain with Daddy and really, really hopes he will get to see a moose before its time to go home. Caillou has dinner at Sarahs house and discovers new foods and a new way to eat them. He has so much fun learning how to eat with chopsticks that he even tries to eat dessert with them! Caillou and Mom meet a fascinating woman in the park. Caillou is quick to approach the woman because she has a friendly dog. He notices it isnt on a leash but in a special harness instead. After several questions she explains she is blind and her dog helps he do many things.

Its hot and steamy and Mom wont let Caillou go to the public pool since theyve been every day this week! When Caillou refuses to put on some sunscreen and Rosie wont nap, Mom quickly realizes that the hot weather is making everyone grumpy. Caillou, Dad and Rosie are in the car on their way to meet mom. Caillou and Rosie are in the back seat arguing and Dad is losing patience with them.

👩🏻 Caillou's mother - She is a busy homemaker most of the time but is seen to work in an office too. Caillou occasionally helps his mom with various chores and she often takes time to involve Caillou and his friends in activities such as crafts and baking.

👨🏻 Boris – Caillou's father. He and Caillou occasionally work on projects around the house. In the episode "Caillou The Chef" he says he once worked at a restaurant and made pizza. It is also mentioned that he played college football.

👧🏻 Rosie – Caillou's lively younger sister who is a typical toddler. She always wants to take part in the same activities as Caillou. As time passed she becomes more talkative and independent. Rosie sometimes fights with Caillou, but they still love each other.

👵🏻 Grandma – Grandma is a very active adult who loves the arts and the outdoors. She passes that love on to Caillou. Grandma often comes up with creative ideas to solve Caillou's problems. She and Caillou paint and go birdwatching together.
