Online Forgiveness! even when you can't go to confession!

What if I told you that even mortal sins can be forgiven, right now, watching this video? In under 2 minutes! [Catechism reference attached below. Please read texts below in case your question is answered]

Quote from Pope Francis' homily on March 20, 2020, specifically talking about people desiring confession but who are in quarantine, or unable to go out. "“Do what the Catechism says. It’s very clear. If you can’t find a priest to go to confession, speak to God. He's your Father! Tell him the truth, "Lord, I've done this, and this and this. I'm sorry." And ask His forgiveness with all your heart with an act of contrition, and promise Him, "Afterwards I will go to confession, but forgive me right now." And IMMEDIATELY YOU WILL BE RESTORED TO GOD'S GRACE!"

Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 1452. "When it arises from a love by which God is loved above all else, contrition is called "perfect" (contrition of charity). Such contrition remits venial sins; it ALSO OBTAINS FORGIVENESS OF MORTAL SINS IF IT INCLUDES THE FIRM RESOLUTION TO HAVE RECOURSE TO SACRAMENTAL CONFESSION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."

Please note, this teaching was also clarified in the Council of Trent, and is present in St. Thomas Aquinas among others.

Steps to get this immediate forgiveness:
#1 - Seek to love God above everything else, and
#2 - Feel sorry you sinned, because you are sorry your sins rejected the Father’s love, you hurt your best Friend,
#3 - Plan on going to confession as soon as possible…

Please note:
Contrition is a grace. We don't manufacture our own repentance or force God to forgive us. Yet He is so loving, He welcomes everyone.
Often you might feel sorry because your sins rejected God, yet you also fear Hell (pretty natural, right?). This still works, or can still be 'perfect contrition'. (Basically you care more about His heart and His sorrows than the punishment you deserve - you think more about Him than about yourself... Really simply, you're not being selfish.)
Confession is still necessary, and has to be desired. The Bible says there are some sins that aren't removed just by praying in 1 John 5:16-17. So the decision to go to confession has to be there. "Online forgiveness" without wanting to say it to God the way He asked to in John 20:23 isn't completely sincere.
