O gauge Live Steam - Essex Sept 2018

This video contains two duchess, Mallard and a magic sword as well as several workhorse engines. They all pulled an impressive set of trains. Being mid Sept the sun was low casting may shadows as well as highlighting and illuminating the details of the streamlined locomotives

Since last year Andrew has laid an inner track to the upper loop and made some other track improvements. The result is more flexible operations. Bushes have grown out over the track making some interesting vistas. With the 1 in 75 climb you can see engines working hard on the climb and needing the regulator closing at the top otherwise even freight trains accelerate to unprototypical speeds.
