The new REACTO - SPEED IS OUR HERITAGE – a development story

We have been making bikes for over 50 years, but few have left as profound a mark on the world of cycling as the REACTO.

The brainchild of our late Director of Product, Jürgen Falke — an accomplished Ironman competitor with an almost obsessive interest in aerodynamic shapes — it was the first road bike to incorporate aero design thinking, a concept that had previously only been seen in triathlon, long before anyone started talking about aero road bikes.

Since its introduction in 2011, the REACTO has always represented SPEED, and the latest generation is no exception. Designed from the ground up, the REACTO V had big shoes to fill, but has managed to break the magic 200-watt barrier (as measured according to the TOUR Magazine Test rules), as well as approved in other aspects our REACTO is famous for.
