Then and now: Former child refugees talk about their experience

In this video former child refugees, who arrived in Britain 80 years ago, talk about how Britain should do more to help the child refugees of today.

Eve, Vera, Leslie and Liane were among 10,000 who were taken in by Britain sop they could escape Nazi-occupied Europe. This was a humanitarian effort that became known as the Kindertransport.

Again today there are child refugees at our doorstep who need our support getting to safety. Britain must show the same compassion, 80 years on it's our turn.
