German Chancellor Scholz in US amid Ukraine-Russia tensions | DW News

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is preparing for talks in the White House, seeking to reassure President Joe Biden of Germany's reliability as an ally.

Germany's NATO allies, including the US, are unhappy with Berlin's refusal to provide Ukraine with defensive weapons. But Scholz stressed that the decision is in line with a longstanding German policy on arms sales.
