Massive solar magnetic filament erupts on Halloween, may be Earth-directed!

NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured a huge plasma filament erupt from the Sun on Oct. 31, 2023 in multiple wavelengths. Coronagraphs from the ESA/NASA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) "will soon reveal if it has an Earth-directed component," according to Spaceweather.com.
