Trying New Things with the Wife

I was excited to try all this new stuff with her but let me tell ya, she was not having any of it and there was a whole lot of complaining…she hated the Jefferson’s which absolutely befuddles me! She was not happy about the belt squat sumo deadlifts…and don’t even get me started on the Husafell Stone carry…meanwhile, this is my first time EVER using a strongman log…I have pretty much zero power from my lower body cuz the knee surgery…I still have a lot of difficulty with that initial knee bend so I physically can’t push press yet..I did the first set with 225 and then did 265. I’m gonna stick with this bad boy cuz it seems perfect for my body to relearn how to dip and drive with my knees again. Same with the sandbag tosses…just a Herculean hoist in an explosive effort to try to regain that snappy power that I’ve lost
