Canadian National Railway Manifest passes a Manned Interlocking Tower!

It’s Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2023, at West Chicago, Illinois.
We watch a southbound Canadian National Railway manifest freight pass JB interlocking tower and pound the diamonds of the triple track Union Pacific Railroad east-west mainline.
JB tower is still a manned tower, by the Canadian National Railway. This gives them control of the crossing such that Union Pacific Railroad freights and Metra commuter trains can’t delay Canadian National Railway freights.
JB tower is one of four manned railroad towers in the Chicago area. The others are:
1) A-2 tower at Western Avenue Chicago, where all the tracks coming out of Chicago Union Station cross all the tracks coming out of Ogilvie Transportation Center
2) Metra’s 16th street tower south of LaSalle street station, Chicago
3) Metra’s Blue Island, Illinois tower
Note the second locomotive is a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway EMD/GM SD70ACe unit.
This railroad was originally the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway.
