SAILING TRHOUGH ELECTRO STORMS AND ENJOYING SOME NICE SQUALLS - SwT 103 MARTINIQUE TO PANAMA PART 3
Sailing through ELECTRO STORMS on my last days towards Panama.
Thunderstorms or ELECTRO STORMS as the phenomena is called in this part of the Caribbean is no fun to sail through. I share my strategy and how I use my tools onboard trying to avoid the worst ones that can scare the most experienced sailor. Also having a really nice time out there and hope I manage to share the joy I had as well. Im also on purpous sailing through some safe squalls to have some fast sailing in this part where its almost like sailing through the doldrums. Using my experience to find the wind, avoiding electro storms and having great time enjoying the silence as well. This is the third and last part of the mini series Martinique to Panama.

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
I`m sailing around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.
Even though this is season 4 on youtube I did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and have also been an active regatta sailor for decades. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience as a captain in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.
PLEASE BE KIND IN THE COMMENTS!
I'm just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don't have the blueprint either. I'm not perfect and nobody is. The day I believe I know it all and don't think I can learn new things I should go ashore. I enjoy sharing my mistakes as well my knowledge and experience without trying to teach you anything.
