S03E12 Canisbay Lake Campground Review, Algonquin Provincial Park

We've made it to our happy place. This is Algonquin Park and we're staying at Canisbay Lake Campground in the Hydro Area. Algonquin Park has everything we look for in a park! Canisbay Lake Campground is a perfect camping spot to venture out from and enjoy everything Algonquin Park has to offer.
On this trip we visit The Portage Store, Lake of Two Rivers Cafe & Grill, the Algonquin Art Center and the Visitor Center. We hike the Peck Lake Trail, Hardwood Lookout Trail, Fire Tower Trail, Big Pines Trail and the Spruce Bog Trail. We kayak in Canisbay Lake and check out one of the backcountry sites where Cheryl tries out the treasure box. We cycle around the campground and try out the Minnesing Mountain Bike Trail. Cheryl was very glad she had her new e-bike for that trail. We wish we had more time because there is so much to do here. We'll be back!

We have one last trip for season 3, and that is celebrating a family Thanksgiving at Earl Rowe Provincial Park with some hiking at Mono Cliffs Provincial Park. Happy camping!
