50$ DIY Mamiya RB67 Instant Back Using a Fujifilm Instax 300 Camera

In this video I share my Instant Back that I made for my Mamiya RB67 camera. The back is made from a Fujifilm Instax 300 camera and uses the cheap and easy to find Fujifilm Instax Wide film. In the video I show how the back works, as well as how I made it. Also included are a few of the sample photos.

Making your own DIY Instant back or Instax back is a cost effective way to shoot Instant film on professional medium format cameras such as the Mamiya RB67. The RB67 has a unique design that allows such backs to be attached. There are several manufacturers online that sell these backs but they tend to cost around 300$ so the DIY option is much cheaper.

The back is made from parts from an Instax 300 camera. Electronics and other unnecessary parts are removed. A steel plate and some screws allow the camera to be attached to the Mamiya RB67.
