Software République: Plug&Charge | Groupe Renault

Zero-emissions mobility is at the heart of the green transition. It is driven by the acceleration of the supply of competitively priced and attractive electric vehicles. However, having more carbon-free vehicles on the roads requires making charging easier: payment options, subscriptions, standardisation of plugs, charging station roll-out... Much remains to be done to simplify the user experience for electrical vehicles owners, for now and for the future. To accelerate the simplification of electric charging, the partners of the Software République are designing an innovative solution – based on the Plug&Charge service – whereby a car that connects to a compatible terminal will be automatically recognised and charged without the driver having to do anything.
