Mid Century Modern Sculpted Plywood Chair// Rockler Plywood Challenge

This DIY mid century modern sculpted plywood chair is my entry into the Modern Maker Podcast one sheet of plywood challenge. Poul Jensen was the designer that I got the design inspiration form for this mid century modern chair. Jensen's original mid century modern design was called the Z Chair.

I used a combination of hand tools and power tools to scuplt the chair and blend all the pieces together. A lot of the woodworking was done at my router table, but I also used my x-carve CNC to cut out the MDF templates.

The chair was a challenging woodworking project, but I'm super happy with the results.
