AE86 Project | Shaved Engine Bay Pt.5 | Sanding & Radiator Support Fabrication | Toyota Corolla AE86

In today's video we are continuing the process of shaving the engine bay on the bike carbed 4AGE ae86 project. Man is it a lot of work! Shaved engine bay s take time and burn out can be a real problem when working on your projects. Try to stay motivated and do a little work everyday. If you dot hat eventually your project will get done!

Earlier this year we attempted to start the recently completed engine swap in the ae86. The 4age was converted to run off of a series of bike carbs from a Yamaha yzf600r motorcycle . This jdm 4age 16v engine will power the ae86 trueno coupe. Paired with the bike carbs it is sure to sound amazing through the power band! The jdm 4age 16v engine is out of an AE92 and was converted to also run in the ae86 rwd orientation.

In this video I also explain how I modified the stock radiator support mount to make it smooth as possible. Do you like how it turned out? Do you think it will look better smooth with the shaved engine bay? In any case we have to complete the engine bay before we can paint the ae86. This build project is not for the faint of heart but the final product should be awesome! . Stay tuned for more updates to come on the project ae86.
