Does the holz hausen really dry quicker? - Testing Firewood Moisture Content

I love playing with different ways to stack firewood. I was lucky enough to get wood from a huge oak tree a few years ago. Today we are going out and testing the moister content of a holz hausen compared to a more traditionally stack of firewood.

The holz hausen was not as dry and on average had 5% more moisture.

Each stacking method of firewood has pro and cons. Which is your favorite?
