About Project:
In this paper author is enhancing kidney Ultrasound images to detect kidney stone easily. To enhance images we have applied various image filtrations algorithms such as Gaussian Blur, Medium Blur, Gabor Filter, Laplacian Filter, Bilateral Filter and Adaptive Histogram Equalization. In all image filtration algorithms Bilateral Filter and Adaptive Histogram Equalization techniques visualizing kidney stone with more clarity. Further we have applied Watershed algorithm to detect Region of interest (ROI).
To implement this project we have designed following modules
1) Upload Ultrasound Image: using this module we will upload image to application
2) Preprocess Image: using this module we will resize and normalize images
3) Image Enhancement Algorithms: using this module we will apply all image enhancement/filtration algorithms and then visualize al filtered images
4) Run Watershed Marking: using this module we will apply watershed algorithm to detect ROI from images
