Kubota BX Dismantle to Remove the HST, to repair Differential Lock Failure

In this video, we disassemble the BX25 to access the diff-lock for repair.
This is the second time my 2010 BX25 diff-lock failed in 2540 hours of heavy duty use. The backhoe weight of 800 pounds adds a lot of stress to the rear axle assembly. If one needs to pull a vehicle or equipment through a muddy area, the diff-lock is necessary for traction. The diff-lock locks the two rear tires which turn with the same power, however steering is difficult, if not impossible. November /2020
