Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting is one of Elton John's most popular rockers. It comes from the album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road from 1973, and it was released as the first single from that album. The album was a massive success, although the single release of this song peaked at number 12 in the US.

The song is usually played live with the band, but a few solo versions have also been done. This version is inspired by the 2009 shows with Ray Cooper where the song was included in the set.
