In this episode of #ThePrintDebates, Former Indian Ambassadors to China Ashok Kantha and Gautam Bambawale note that the India-China 5-point action plan announced by India's foreign minister S Jaishankar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi is a step in right direction but that there is no mention of status quo ante. Bambawale says the two-month long stand-off was premeditated by the Chinese and Kantha points out that Beijing has a habit of walking away from agreements when they are inconvenient.
