I love to grow heirloom Provider Bush Beans! These bean plants produce a large amount green beans and they taste great. This video shows the stages of green bean seed development and discusses harvesting times. I've been harvesting my green bean seeds this way for years without any issues replanting. Once the seeds within the pod get to be a good size and develop a firm texture they can be harvested. I'm looking forward to planting these beans again next year!
