Standing Pilates Workout | "Finding Your Center" 30 Day Series - 11
This 25-minute Standing Pilates workout is Day 11 of the 30-Day Pilates Journey, “Finding your Center.” In a standing pilates routine, it’s just as important to find your center and engage your core, especially during single leg balance movements.
Just as in Pilates done on the mat, a standing routine requires proper form and alignment. Core engagement is key for this as well as for gaining more power and stability from your center. This is especially important for balancing exercises that will increasingly challenge our core stability.
We’ll find some spinal mobility in this routine as well, working on front and side flexion, rotation, and extension. When you’re finished, you’ll feel stronger especially in the legs and the core.
