Miniature Railways of Great Britain Riverside Miniature Railway St Neots,,,,,August 2018

Nice to see a brand new railway,it has not long had it's official opening......We see so many railways closing to developers these days.
Well done to all the members that have worked so hard to make this happen.With a bad winter and then floods holding the work up it is nice to see it open and doing well.
They have plans for an extension this winter,so another trip is on the cards.
On our visit today we had something we have not seen for a very long time,it RAINED! Just a steady rain but it did cause the Druid to spin it's wheels pulling some of the loads....We found out later with the rain getting heavier they had to stop running.
We enjoyed our visit and we liked the shopping trip that followed although we did get a little wet!
