Toothed, Engineering Brick and a Block Pillar - Left Support Wall Progress Day 18

Day 18 and the left side support wall is half built and that is where it is staying tonight.

The structural engineer wanted it all toothed and red engineering brick throughout so that is what it is getting. I even went as far as building a block pillar on top of that just to give it some extra support. Belt and braces on a wall that needs to be right.

The coursing is not perfect due to the old brick sizing, same problem we have been fighting throughout this whole renovation, but it is good enough and I am happy with it. It is solid and it is going to do its job.

I was hoping to get it finished today but it is 8pm and I am not putting another mix on. The tools are down, the site is done for tonight and the left side will be there waiting for me tomorrow.

Some days you push through. Tonight is not one of them.
